Maria Centeno

Maria is a Global Procurement leader with a proven track record on purchasing and strategic sourcing operations, as well as achieving substantial cost savings for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to her SoFi role as Head of Procurement, she led the Procurement function at Zuora, an enterprise software company for billing automation. She also held Procurement leadership positions at Salesforce and eBay.  

 

Throughout her career, Maria has been passionate about building reliable and effective teams, designing procurement processes, policies and procedures. Maria has built her subject matter expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations and Category Management with a focus on fast paced tech companies. She holds an International Masters of Business Administration (IMBA) from University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business and she is a Chemical Engineer from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela.  

 

Maria is married with two children, boys ages 9 and 6 and enjoys traveling, outdoors, culinary arts and superhero cosplay (currently, she is Wonder Woman)
